What makes Carnalia.com different from the other adult portals?

As far as we know, Carnalia.com is the ONLY pansexual adult-reviews site that makes quality the primary requirement for inclusion in its index. Here at Carnalia.com, we seek to showcase and foster those rare adult web sites which have a unique personality, quality content, strong aesthetic appeal and a positive attitude to sex. We'll help you to find the best free sites -- the ones with something genuine to contribute -- and we'll give you an honest assessment of what you can expect to find in the members area of some quality AVS and pay sites. We will not knowingly include any reviews or advertising for sites which have sub-standard content or are proven to be unethical.

How do you choose sites for your index?

We ONLY review the Net's best adult web sites. We look for sites with plenty of quality content, preferably original, licensed and updated frequently. The content must also be appropriate to the theme of the site, for example we'd be looking for extremely high production values from a fine art photographer, but amateur snaps are perfectly appropriate for a voyeur site.

We like quality scans, generously sized photographs, and attractive sites which are easy to navigate. If there's a charge for membership or merchandise, we'll be looking for value for money, and obviously we'll have higher expectations of a pay site than we would a free or AVS site. We don't like slow downloads, lousy photography, fuzzy scans, choppy video, inappropriate models, excessive advertising, blind links, unlicensed content, or content that can also be found on hundreds of other sites.

We believe that sexuality and sex in all of its consensual forms should be respected and celebrated! We especially love sites with a sense of style and humanity. Just because it's porn, that doesn't mean that it has to be tasteless, predictable, superficial, or devoid of charm, and it doesn't need to objectify or demean its subjects! Carnalia.com seeks to showcase sites which reflect these principles.

You've listed a site which doesn't match your selection criteria!

It almost certainly did match our selection criteria at the time that it reviewed it, but web sites can change very rapidly. Sometimes an owner will even create a quality web site, then after they've built a good amount of traffic, remove the content and change it to a circle-jerk. If you find any sites which obviously do not belong in Carnalia.com, please tell us so that we can investigate. If we agree with your assessment we'll delete it.

What's your e-mail publishing schedule?

We don't have an e-mail publishing schedule. Why? Because there's a finite number of quality sites and we don't want to be placed in a situation where we have to include sub-standard sites just to meet an arbitrary deadline. But what we can say is that new sites will be added most days and you can generally expect about 10 new reviews weekly, often many more. Reviews will be posted to our e-mail lists as they're completed.

What's your privacy policy?

If you subscribe to any of our e-mail lists, we GUARANTEE not to sell or trade your e-mail address, or subscribe you to any other lists without your permission. If you're concerned about anything else, ask.

You say you don't like consols, but I've found some sites in you index which use them, why have you included these sites?

Well consols (popup ads) are always a black mark against a site. But if we totally banned consols, we'd have a lot fewer quality paysites to review because many paysites, even many of the good ones, do use them. But at least with paysites, the consols are no longer an issue if you subscribe because quality sites never use them in the members area. You'll find that we only review free and AVS sites with consols if they offer unusually good content.

Do you get paid to list sites in your index?

You can NOT buy a favorable review in our index. We select and review sites purely on merit. But if a listed site has a sponsorship program we will usually join it -- we've gotta pay our bills somehow! :-)

How do you determine the order of sites in your lists?

The #1 position for each category is generally allocated to a paysite that offers a sponsorship program (ie. a site that will pay us a fee for sales or clicks). This is an unashamed attempt to improve our financial viability by capitalizing on people's laziness (ie. many people will click on the first link that they see). However, this is NOT an attempt to deceive our visitors, we only manually fix a site in the top position if we genuinely believe that it is one of the best sites in the category. All other ranks are determined by the number of visitors the reviewed site refers to Carnalia.com, ie. the more traffic they send us, the higher they will rank in our lists.

I've found an error or a broken link, what should I do?
